So who is Boyd?
Hi! I am Boyd. I am just like you. I live, love, work and play everyday. I hold onto the belief that if I treat people fair, they will be fair back to me. But there is something about me that may be of interest to you. If you are reading this right now, you have come to this site to try and gain a little knowledge while you are going through or getting ready to go through the agony of what to do about your home Heating and Air Conditioning system.
Well, even though I am just like you, I have done something that most of you have not. I have been on the inside of the Residential Heating and A/C industry for the last decade. I have seen and heard and retained, all of the inside information that your HVAC contractor probably does not want you to know. I have worked directly with the same HVAC contractors that you call when you need new equipment or service. I have also been involved in purchasing on the wholesale HVAC distribution level and have even been a Vice President of a regional HVAC wholesale distribution company, the same type of company that your local HVAC contractors purchase from to get the equipment that they sell to you.
So why is this important to you? As you move about in this website, you will find answers to questions that may be different from the answers you get from your local contractors. I am going to try to help you understand, in some case’s , why the your local contractor may not be the best answer, and in the same, I will also be honest and tell you when your local contractor may be your best option.
I am not here to tear down an industry. In some cases I may open up a dark side of HVAC, but by doing so I hope to help remove some of the problem areas, allowing the good honest HVAC professionals to be able to do there best to help you the homeowner.
